Light X Reader - Part 14

-Light's POV

Light caught you as you fell, he smiled looking at your sleeping face. He wished he could protect you from everything...  He carried you bridal style out of the room, he could feel his father and L watching him. "I'm taking [name] to my room, she'll feel safer in there." Light explained to them. He turned  the corner, heading to the elevator but he ran into someone. Misa fell to the ground, letting out a high pitched scream. "Misa, are you alright?" He asked. He couldn't help her up because you were in his arms. Misa hopped up and looked at you in Light's arms. "Light? Can you explain who this is...?" She said, hatred already spitting out of her mouth.

"This is [name], you've met her a while back." He tried explaining to Misa but she already decided what she thought of you. Light knew that Misa wanted him to be her boyfriend but he didn't like her like that... "Misa, she's part of the task force now... At least try to get along with her"

"But how can I get along when she's getting WAY to close to you!" Misa yelled at Light. Light sighed and moved to the side. "You'll figure it out" He stepped onto the elevator and noticed you were looking at him. "Guess I already got an enemy" You said, laughing a bit.

"When did you wake up?"

"When Misa screamed"

Light smiled and kissed you on your forehead, which surprised you. This was the first time he kissed you. Once you two reached the room Light sat you on the bed. "You're still tired?" You nodded. Light pulled you closer to him. You smiled a little and curled up against him and fell back asleep.
