It was everywhere right now. The only light came from the tiny video camera in front of you, it was where L's voice came through. You didn't realize but you had started crying, it wasn't until you heard the voice did you realize.
"Miss [last name], are you crying?"
You looked around, L had scared you. The wetness of your cheek also surprised you.
"Wha- oh, I guess I am..." you said quietly.
"Why." It wasn't a optional question, L wanted to know.
"I- I just brings memories... you know- being here." You clearly remembered what happened years ago. There were stabbing all over Japan and you were a suspect, you were brought in a room like this and they asked you questions, but they were brutal questions. "... You won't need to worry about that. Nobody here is blaming you of anything." It was probably just your imagination but L seemed to have something in his voice that sounded sincere, it was probably nothing because the prosthetic voice was made to show no emotion.
