Edward X Reader - Change

Edward looked outside the train window, he began to make out the land marking that signaled Resembool was close. Excitement was tingling throughout his body, but with that was also worry. He wasn't sure if [name] would remember him, he hadn't talk to you since his mother died. Every time he had tried to talk to you after that, he'd always change his mind. Not this time. He assured himself. He wasn't sure how much you've changed but he'd still find [name]. Edward felt the train jolt to a stop. He was here. "Brother!" Alphonse pointed to two girls outside. Ed had recognized Winry, but she was with a girl with [h/c] hair. He had to admit, the other girl was beautiful. "Well, we can't keep Winry waiting, she'll kill us if we do." The brothers hurried off the train. "Hey!" Winry greeted them with beaming eyes. "Hey," Ed said "Why are you so happy?" Winry just laughed.

"Hello!" Ed looked over to see that Alphonse had already greeted the girl. "Hi Alphonse!" She greeted him like she's known him forever.

"Oh, Hey. I'm Ed by the way." Ed turned to her, she was even more beautiful up close.

"Why would you think I wouldn't know who you are?" She responded with a question. Ed looked closer at her then gave a a giant grin. "Oh I see! My name's gotten around, huh?"

Winry didn't even take a second to smack him. "Are you that delirious that you can't even recognize an old friend?!" Ed looked up from where he now sat on the ground. "Old...friend...?" He turned to face her, examining her very closely. "Erm, Brother it's [name]..." Alphonse sighed at his brothers stupidity.

"[n-name]!" Edward jumped back, he knew he was going to see you but he never expected it to be so soon. You giggled and pulled Ed into a hug.

~Time Skip~

Ed was sitting outside, he remembered all the times when he was little and [name] had helped him. He pictured your smile and your laugh from back then. Now you weren't the same, you looked so different. "Ed?" He heard your small voice coming from behind. "Oh, hey [name]" He bent his head back to see her. She was wearing white sun dress that had a small yellow flower on the right hip. Ed blushed just seeing her in it. "Mind if I sit down?"

"Sure," He moved over a little as you sat down. "So, what are you thinking about?" You asked him, a slight smile on your lips.

"What makes you say that?"

"You haven't changed, have you?" You laughed. "You'd always come out here when you need to think."

"Oh..." He looked over to see your bright [e/c] eyes looking at him, he couldn't tell you a lie, he's lied to you so long... "I was thinking about how much you've changed..."

"I was thinking about that earlier as well, No ones the same anymore... We all change eventually."

"Yeah..."

"But some people change for the better..." Edward didn't notice but you were staring at him, when he looked back at you, you were looking at the sky.

"Um... [name]?" Edward asked, you turned back to him. Edward felt a huge blush crawl onto his face. He leaned forward and quickly kissed you. You then had a blush on your face as well. He got up and hurried away. He smiled slightly, he still felt your soft lips on his.  "We all change..." He repeated your words thinking of your beautiful [h/c] locks and [e/c] eyes.
